ShopPilot Terms of Service
Effective date: 22 July 2026
Publisher: Baisalya Roul
App: ShopPilot
1. Who may use ShopPilot
You must have legal capacity to accept these Terms. If you use ShopPilot for a business or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it and to administer its users, records, branches, and cloud services.
2. What ShopPilot provides
ShopPilot is an offline-first business-management application for workflows such as customers, orders, repairs, billing, inventory, staff, branches, reports, backup, recovery, and optional synchronization. Features can vary by platform, plan, configuration, network availability, and third-party service availability.
3. Your business records and responsibilities
- You retain responsibility for information entered into your workspace and for having a lawful reason to collect, use, share, export, and retain it.
- You must keep customer and staff information accurate, give access only to authorized people, and follow applicable tax, employment, privacy, consumer, and record-keeping laws.
- You must not use ShopPilot for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or unauthorized surveillance purposes.
- You are responsible for reviewing invoices, taxes, balances, stock, reports, permissions, and restored data before relying on them.
4. Accounts, PINs, staff, and branch access
You are responsible for securing your device, Google account, local PIN, recovery code, staff invitations, and workspace access. Owners must revoke or suspend access when a staff member should no longer use a workspace. Staff must use only the workspace and branches they are authorized to access. Do not share passwords, OAuth tokens, database keys, or recovery codes.
5. Offline storage, backup, sync, and recovery
Local storage is the primary working copy. Google Drive backup, Firebase identity, premium near-live sync, and recovery features are optional or plan-dependent. Cloud operations can be delayed or fail because of revoked permissions, account changes, connectivity, device shutdown, service outages, conflicts, deleted files, or storage limits. “Near-live” does not mean instantaneous or guaranteed delivery.
You must keep a confirmed recovery code and maintain appropriate independent exports or backups. Before replacing or deleting a device or workspace, verify that a usable backup exists. Do not interrupt an upgrade or restore operation.
6. Premium plans and Google Play Billing
Supported Android premium subscriptions are purchased and managed through Google Play. Prices, billing periods, trials, renewal, grace periods, refunds, cancellation, and payment methods are shown or controlled by Google Play and applicable law. Deleting local data, signing out, or deleting a Firebase identity does not automatically cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play. Premium access may stop when a purchase expires, is cancelled, cannot be verified, is refunded, or is associated with a different account.
7. Third-party services
Optional functionality relies on Google Sign-In, Google Drive, Firebase, Google Play Billing, and related Google services. Their separate terms, privacy rules, quotas, and availability also apply. ShopPilot does not control those services and cannot guarantee their uninterrupted operation.
8. License and acceptable use
The Publisher gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use ShopPilot for its intended business purpose, subject to these Terms and the store license. You may not bypass access, subscription, or security controls; probe another workspace; distribute malware; interfere with cloud services; reverse engineer where prohibited; or misuse the app to violate another person's rights.
9. Updates, suspension, and termination
Updates may be required for security, database compatibility, privacy, store compliance, or cloud interoperability. Unsafe versions or compromised access may be restricted. You may stop using ShopPilot and follow the public data deletion instructions. Provisions that logically survive termination, including responsibility for prior conduct and lawful record retention, continue to apply.
10. No professional advice
ShopPilot helps organize business information but is not accounting, tax, legal, employment, cybersecurity, or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for decisions requiring professional judgment.
11. Availability and warranties
To the extent allowed by law, ShopPilot is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that every feature will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, consumer rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-interruption losses arising from unauthorized access, unverified records, missing backups, third-party outages, or use contrary to these Terms. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
13. Changes to these Terms
The effective date will be updated when these Terms change. ShopPilot may require a new in-app acknowledgement when a change is material. Continued use after accepting the updated Terms means the updated Terms apply.
